1. What Kwetu is

Kwetu Kuwait is a free community listings board that helps people find and post rooms, partitions, and bedspaces in Kuwait, organized by area. Kwetu does not own, manage, inspect, or verify any property listed on the platform, is not a party to any rental agreement, and does not process any payments between users.

2. Who's operating this

Kwetu is currently operated by Kelvin Ndegwa Wairimu as an individual, ahead of the planned incorporation of Flowtwchnologies Limited in Kenya. This section will be updated once incorporation is complete.

3. No accounts, no verified identities

Kwetu does not require sign-up or login. Anyone can post or browse. We do not verify the identity of posters, the accuracy of listings, or the legitimacy of accommodation offered. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment — meet in safe public places when possible, verify details independently, and never send money to someone you haven't met or verified through your own diligence.

4. Posting a listing

By posting, you confirm that:

• You have the right to advertise the accommodation described.
• The information you provide (area, block, description, rent, contact number) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will not post discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
• You consent to your WhatsApp number being displayed publicly on the listing so interested people can contact you directly.

Before a listing is published or an edit is saved, you must actively agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy via a checkbox on the review step — publishing is blocked until you do.

We may remove any listing, without notice, that we believe violates these terms, is fraudulent, or has been reported by multiple users (see our reporting system).

5. Reporting and moderation

Users can report listings they believe are fraudulent, inappropriate, or inaccurate. Listings that accumulate enough reports are automatically hidden pending review. We do this to keep the platform trustworthy, not as a guarantee that every visible listing has been verified.

6. Listing expiry

Listings automatically stop appearing 30 days after posting, and are deleted permanently 7 days after that. This is by design, to keep the board current — we don't offer a way to extend a listing beyond this without reposting.

7. No liability for transactions

Kwetu is not responsible for any dispute, loss, damage, or harm arising from a transaction, meeting, or agreement made as a result of a connection made through Kwetu. All arrangements — viewing properties, agreeing rent, signing agreements, exchanging money — happen entirely between users, outside Kwetu, and at their own risk.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use Kwetu to:

• Post anything illegal, discriminatory, or knowingly false.
• Harvest contact information for spam or unrelated solicitation.
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape at scale, or interfere with the platform's normal operation.
• Post on behalf of a business without disclosing that it's a business listing, where relevant.

9. Intellectual property

The Kwetu name, logo, and design are the property of Flowtwchnologies. Listing content (descriptions, etc.) remains the property of the person who posted it; by posting, you grant Kwetu a license to display it on the platform for as long as the listing is active.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves or as legal requirements change. Continued use of Kwetu after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing approach

Kwetu is a Kuwait-facing platform. As formal jurisdiction and applicable law are still being finalized alongside incorporation, this section will be updated with the appropriate governing law once that's settled.
